Based upon the site analysis and the envisaged building program, a design concept was conceived. The desing was to be a landmark in the region for the landmark discovery.

The idea was to develope a concept of spatial fluidity that tends to connect the built and the unbuilt. It means achieving a system that does not confines a system but enhances its fluidiity. A system of solid void modulation that goes like Mobius Strip connecting the inside and outside.

The strip would be walked upon, entered into, crossed over and would also be laminar and voluminous at different occasions. A Strip/Ribbon that would run between the inside and outside modulating depicting the waves of time and space.

On further consolidation of the idea, a system of red Ribbon was chosen that would run form one within a glass box. The concept when conceived sounds very simple but when realized forms a maze of paths that gives users a tremendous permutation of oppurtunities to get lost in within the maze. The contrast of Light-Dark, Solids-Voids, Inside-Outside strike the balance between the spaces like the positive and the negative forces of Yin-Yan.
