The Resort Island

The Resort Island is a place for people from Hanoi, as well as for tourists, to relax in hotels, bars, restaurants, danceclubs, swimmingpools, game halls, etc.

The Business Island

The Business Island comprises business, commercial, convention, exposition, and other activities in one unique complex. It integrates several interiorised public spaces like plazas canals, gardens and a superhighrise, offering a condensed image of a prosperous future for Hanoi.

The Research Island

The Research Island will assemble the governmental research institutes and housing for Vietnam’s top researchers. It will be a place for a community enjoying the physical proximity of the other disciplines for reflection, inspiration and multi-disciplinary exchange.

The Sports Island

The Sports Island accommodates the most active parts of the cultural corridor: all kinds of sports facilities ranging from soccerfields and ice-skating rinks, to a major sportarena, which also will be used for mega pop-concerts.

This island will be the perfect setting for the 1000 year anniversary of Hanoi in 2010 and the Olympic Games in Hanoi 2020.

The Cultural Corridor

The Cultural Corridor continues from the lake to Co Loa with a theme park, which integrates:

- a historic walkway

- space for festivals and other activities

- an open air theatre

- a science museum
