映秀镇作为"5.12"汶川特大地震的震中和重灾区，受到了前所未有的重创，自重建工程开始以来，来自世界各地和国内的专家广泛参与了灾区的重建规划和建设。

映秀在规划的定位中策划为世界5A级的旅游胜地和风情小镇。本次设计将映秀营造为一个具有纪念意义的场所，其中的心灵修复策略和景观环境辅助为：

1、 提供活动平台。

2、 为儿童、青少年提供一个可以体验与互动的室外场地。

3、 在邻里空间中为老人提供一个可以晒太阳、喝茶聊天、下棋打牌的场所。

4、 营造有激励振奋、净化心灵等特定气氛的景观环境。

5、 创造灾区人民迫切需要的安定美好的生活环境。

6、 结合映秀多民族的风俗习惯进行设计。

Yingxiu Town is the epicenter and hard-hit area of "5.12" Wenchuan Earthquake. Since the beginning of reconstruction works, many experts home and abroad take part in the reconstruction and replanning for the disaster area.

The design intent is to make Yingxiu Town to be a 5A resort and landscaping town of World. Yingxiu Town will be rebuilt as a memorial place in the reconstruction project. The main functions are:

To offer activity space;

To offer outdoor interactive places for children and youths;

To offer leisure space for old people in neighborhood space;

To create stimulating and purificatory environment;

To create stable and happy living environment for people in disaster areas;

To design in accordance with the multiracial customs of Yingxiu.
