Macro level Zoning of entire GIFT site
The activities on different land parcels have been decided as per their significance to the new city. The location of these activities is decided on proximity to riverfront. The main goal to develop GIFT as a world-class hub to facilitate the delivery of a wide range of cross-border financial services to clients in other countries, decides for Commercial (offices) land use as the predominant land use. The residential activity along with other social infrastructure provision is equally necessary to keep the city alive and active. The other land uses have been proportionately introduced.
